If it could be a bit on the warmer side better to grab an ice pack than end up with melted chocolate.
The packaging was perfect. I ordered enough to receive free shipping, but since it was in the low to mid 70's during the day I had them put in a cold pack. They sent it priority mail and clearly marked that it was not to be left in the mailbox. The delivery person stuffed it in the mailbox anyway. It was a little soft, but recovered without even having melted chocolate stuck to the wrappers. Although the sugar on the new VeGems was melted and they are rather sticky.
Worth the extra cost. All my candies came in great shape

i would have rated higher, but the mail carrier put in the mailbox instead of delivering directly to the house as is instructed on the package. The cold pack was melted by the time i picked up out of the mailbox.
