    Yummy Raspberry Truffles

Posted by Unknown on Sep 14th 2020

Your Raspberry Truffles tasted like milk chocolate! They were great--thank you so much for this vegan option. People do not realize how cruel the dairy industry is. I've been looking for chocolate that does not use the milk from abused cows who are kept constantly pregnant, only to have their babies taken immediately from them and sold for veal. Once at the veal farm, the baby cows are kept in a tiny box and fed only milk (hence the term "milk-fed veal") so that the meat is tender once the calf is killed and served to the human race. The mother cow cries for days and looks for her baby, only to have this same cruelty (pregnancy, birth, and taking away her baby) inflicted on her again. All this so humans can have milk and milk products. Thank you for having a cruelty-free and delicious candy available.

OK but because the shipment was ruined it didn't taste as well as I believe it could have.

    Very tasty...wish they didn’t have coffee/brandy

Posted by Martin Pluim on Feb 19th 2020

First off, I have to say that the chocolates themselves were very delicious for being gluten free and dairy free. My wife was beyond excited to have them. However, after we had eaten 3 of them, we looked at the ingredients and saw that they had coffee and brandy in them! Neither my wife or I eat coffee or alcohol, so we had to give the rest of the box away! Disappointing to have to give them away after being so excited to have them.

Shipping Container Closed, Food Container Opened

Posted by Grant Billings on Feb 11th 2020

The truffles arrived in fine condition, but the containers with the truffles in them opened during transit. Kind of strange, I was expecting them to be taped closed or something. So the truffles ended up rolling around in the box and touching the plastic wrap. They're fine I guess, but it still seemed kinda irresponsible (especially when you pay so much!).
