No Tricks Caramel Cookie Bars (2 per pack)

Twix were one of my favorite candy bars before going vegan about 6 years ago, and I've missed them. These taste so much like them! I'd actually say they taste better. Definitely recommend if you need a dairy-free Twix fix!

Twix was my favorite candy bar as a kid, and I haven’t had one in 7 or 8 years. I was excited to try a vegan version. I have never tried to diy it. I was really disappointed. These are twice as expensive as a Twix bar. They are larger but they are just way overly sweet. The cookie bar doesn’t have any flavor and barely provided any texture because it is so small. The caramel is a good texture, and there is a good amount. Overall I don’t think it’s a very balanced flavor. I think the outer layer of chocolate is just too thick, and the chocolate itself is not that good. It doesn’t taste like chocolate or milk chocolate at all. It is just meh. My husband loves caramel, and he said he likes them at least.

When I took my first bite, I couldn’t believe how good they were!! I am always on the lookout for gluten and dairy free chocolate. To find this was beyond my wildest dreams!! Try them, you don’t be disappointed but make sure you buy more than one pack!

Best candy bar they've made so far imo. The caramel is a little sticky which Im not a fan of but I love the cookie layer.

Although I appreciate a launch of new product- and high demand products I have some candid thoughts. The bar itself does not taste like a Twix. It is incredibly think with way to much chocolate coating which is almost double the size of a regular Twix bar. Flavor of the caramel is good but the bar as a whole could use improvement as I wasn’t impressed- especially with the cost too. I appreciate the company and support them but a product revamp is in need.

I really wanted to like these. I bought a whole dozen. I've been vegan for over 13 years and I've been missing Twix candy for that long. I barely remember how the original candy tastes like but there's a number of issues with this new product regardless: 1) the chocolate layer is way too thick which makes it hard to bite; 2) the cookie layer is nothing like a cookie, it's more like a full-fat fudge (did you really have to make this gluten-free?) 3) It is way too sweet, overloaded with sugar, I can barely finish one piece at once; contemplating to maybe cut them in small bite-size pieces and keep in a jar 4) fat content also almost made me cry Please make a better gluten-y version of this!

Almost as good as a twix. The ratio is a bit off. Bottom of the bar is too thick and the cookie is not thick enough. If it was closer to the ratio depicted on the wrapper it would be better. It is very sweet for someone who has not had candy in a while, so I would suggest fun sized candies!
